about

Originally recorded live for a vinyl single along with 'Timebomb' at The Narrows with production duo The Dangerbirds (James McKenty and Tom Street).

An adrenaline charged rocker exploring the semantic duality of the phrase “Jesus Jesus”. Is it blasphemous to use the Lord’s name in vain when you’re directing your frustration at him, while at the same time pleading for help? Ryan Weber explains: “It came from our dear friend Roger Ross. Out of nowhere sometimes he will look to the sky, throw his hands up and say “Jesus, Jesus!” with a heavy emphasis on the first syllable. It seemed like a very multiple loaded phrase to me.”
