about

Recorded live at the Gordon Best on April 22 2006, The Weber Brothers 4th album features 12 tracks including 4 brand new songs as well as selections from their first 2 albums: "149 Lake Street"(2003) and "Lost and Found"(2004).
Keyboardist Shai Peer, drummer Derek McKendrick and sax man Jim Usher along with Sam(guitar) and Ryan Weber(bass) make up the band.
Asked by friends on numerous occasions to capture the energy of a live performance, The Gordon Best show was recorded in full with the hopes of getting an album's worth of material together for release.
"We had about 2 and a half hours recorded when we finished, so we had to go through it all and just hope there was something good in there. I knew the night felt really good, but sometimes feeling good and sounding good are a world apart.
Luckily, when we listened back it didn't sound half bad. So we picked 12 songs where we sang on key and mixed them. We were pretty amazed at how it turned out after the mix was done,"states Ryan Weber.
Co-produced and recorded by Peterborough musician Jimmy Steele, "The Weber Brothers- Live at the Gordon Best" is available now."
